'78 Cadillac front end and car seats, two digital projectors, painted markings, two radios

This recent piece reflects the daily trip I made as an Americorp Vista volunteer "across the tracks" from Johnson County to Kansas City , Kansas . The two projections compare and contrast video footage shot out of the passenger side windshield and footage of the other part of town shot out of the driver side windshield. Out of the headlights these two videos are projected on the wall forming one windshield but contrasting to very different parts of town. I reflected on the Cadillac (new and old) as a status symbol in both communities.
